In the immense universe, all we human beings have known are just the tip of iceberg and there are full of mystery. One of the mystery is the stars, and it amazes me a lot.
When you are looking at the sky at night, you can find lots of stars. How many stars and how they come into being. There are more than 200 trillion stars in Milky Way Galaxy. And the number of star in the whole universe is much more than the number of sand on Earth! However, all stars have the same way to come into being, so I will tell you about how a star comes into being. At first, the dusts of nebula and gaseous nebula gather one place and become hotter, it also makes the dark area bright. As time goes, there is gravitation in the center of all these nebula, and it will suck all things include hydrogen, the most important energy source, into this vortex and compress them and heat them. As time goes, nebula become thicker and thicker, and in the core of it, gravitation compresses all things into a super compact and super hot ball, but its a gaseous ball. As compression increases, lots of gaseous substance burst out from the core. The next 500 thousand years, it will become smaller, brighter and hotter. A new star comes into being. What an awesome process.
You will ask how the star keep the state. I will show you. A star can bring lots of hot and light, and it will keep for more than several billion years. In the core of the star, the high compression makes the atoms knock strongly and brings lots of energy that every second it brings the energy more than one billion nuclear bomb. The energy is so powerful that it can burst the star easily, however, don't forget gravitation. These two powerful force make the star into a balanced state so that it won't burst for a super long time. How amazing!
When a star comes into being, it will absolutely die one day in the future. Let me show you this awesome process. As hydrogen runs out, the force from the knocking atoms decreases, but the gravitation is still as strong as before, so the compression becomes more powerful. As we know, it will be heated when it is compressed, however, the star is a gaseous ball, so the star is getting larger, not smaller. And it will lick up all the planets nearby. At last, hydrogen is completely over, the star begins to burn helium, that will destroy all surface of the star. Finally, the star bursts out and dies, leaves a big diamond that we call it White Dwarf. This is the death of a small star. What about the large stars? it's nearly the same, but when it bursts out, it leaves a big steel ball called Neutron Star and lots of new elements that can create another new lives. What an amazing death of stars.
Stars create everything. We are the star sons. Everything has death, the universe will die, too. According to this, we can know that we should treasure everything while we are alive. So, if you want to know more about the stars, it will also amaze.
